In Ohata Town, Mutsu City, Aomori Prefecture, the Ohata River was flooded due to heavy rain, and the water of the river approached the height of the temporary embankment.
This is a video taken by a 44-year-old man living near the Ohata River from the window on the second floor of his house around 6:30 am on the 10th.
The river is flooded by heavy rain and becomes a muddy stream, and you can see countless driftwood and small fishing boats being washed away.
The man said, "When I woke up in the morning and looked out the window, I was very surprised because the Ohata River was on the verge of flooding. I thought I had to escape because there were many driftwoods, so I evacuated to a nearby park."
