According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, typhoon No. 6, a large and strong typhoon, is believed to be almost stagnant at 1:00 pm on the 22nd, 160 km south-southeast of Miyakojima.



The air pressure at the center is 955 hectopascals, the maximum wind speed near the center is 40 meters, the maximum instantaneous wind speed is 60 meters, and a storm with a wind speed of 25 meters or more is blowing within a radius of 130 km from the center.



At Miyako Airport, the maximum instantaneous wind speed of 27.8 meters was observed at 11:49 am on the 22nd, and at 8:53 am at Yonaguni Airport, the maximum instantaneous wind speed was 26.7 meters.
