Earthquakes have been occurring one after another in the waters near the Tokara Islands in Kagoshima Prefecture since the 9th, and shaking with seismic intensities of 4 and 3 has been observed one after another on Akusekijima in Toshima Village.

In the surrounding area, earthquakes have continued in the past, and the Japan Meteorological Agency is calling attention.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency's website, a total of 179 earthquakes with a seismic intensity of 1 or higher were observed in Kagoshima Prefecture from late night on the 9th to 11:00 pm on the 11th.



Of these, in Toshima Village, ▽ Akusekijima sway with seismic intensity 4 was observed four times, and ▽ Akusekijima and Kodakarajima sway with seismic intensity 3 were observed 14 times in total.



In the waters near the Tokara Islands, earthquakes have occurred one after another for several days in the past, and the Japan Meteorological Agency warns that the shaking may continue in the future.
