At the roadside station in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, where a seismic intensity of 6 upper was observed, roof tiles have fallen and products have been damaged.

At "Roadside Station Soma" in the center of Soma City, many roof tiles had fallen in the parking lot on the morning of the 14th, and the window glass was broken and some window frames were removed.

At this roadside station, the tiles did not fall even after the Great East Japan Earthquake.



Broken roof tiles and glass were put together and emergency measures were taken.

Also, inside the building, the boxes that had been piled up near the entrance had collapsed, and souvenir liquor and seasoning bottles had fallen from the shelves and cracked, causing damage such as the contents coming out.



Before 8:00 am, city officials visited to understand the damage situation and took pictures of the inside and outside of the store with a camera.



According to the staff at the roadside station, it will be closed on the 14th because it needs to be cleaned up and the shutters of the store will not open.

In a residential area in front of Nakano Temple in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, a stone wall with a height of 2 meters had collapsed on the street.



The stone wall collapsed for about 10 meters, and a 57-year-old man in the neighborhood said, "I heard a loud noise. I'm glad I didn't get injured."
