According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, warm and moist air is flowing toward the stagnant front near western Japan, and the atmospheric condition is unstable mainly from western Japan to the Sea of ​​Japan side of northern Japan.



During this time, rain clouds developed locally in Kinki and Hokuriku, and during the hour until 5 pm, heavy rain of 33 mm was observed with a rain gauge installed in Kami Town by Hyogo Prefecture.



Atmospheric instability is expected to continue over the 18th, with heavy rain accompanied by lightning, especially on the Sea of ​​Japan side, and there is a risk of extremely heavy rain of 50 mm per hour, especially in northern Kyushu.
