According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Inspectorate of Medicine, 26 men and women died of heat stroke in Tokyo during 9 days from 9th to 17th of this month.

By age group, there were 12 in the 80s, 7 in the 70s, 80% in the 70s and over, and 101-year-old men.

Also, 25 out of 26 people died indoors, and 22 were either not installed or not using the air conditioners.

This month, 79 people have died of heat stroke in Tokyo.
