On the Toei Subway Oedo Line, some trains had an emergency stop between stations due to the earthquake warning system being activated on the morning of the 30th. As a result, some passengers could not get off the train for up to an hour.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation, at 9:37 am on the 30th, the Toei Oedo Line was suspended due to the earthquake warning system being activated in response to the Earthquake Early Warning.

At that time, 40 trains operated on the Oedo Line during commuting hours, but 9 trains of them stopped urgently between stations, so passengers could temporarily leave the train for up to 1 hour. I was unable to get off for too long.

Some passengers complained that they were feeling sick because of this effect.

We proceeded with safety checks and all nine trains, which had been stopped between the stations by 11am, arrived at the nearest station, the trap was cleared, and then the operation resumed on the whole line after 11am.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation said, "The system related to operation did not start well and it took time to restart the operation. Currently, we are investigating the details such as the cause."
