According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the damage caused by the heavy rainfall in July related to agriculture, forestry and fisheries was 105.8 billion yen in 42 prefectures as of 2 pm on the 29th.

The most common of these is the forest-related area, and the damage amounted to 49.6 billion yen due to landslides causing trees to be washed away and forest roads to be damaged.

In addition, damage to farmland and agricultural facilities such as the destruction of reservoirs was 41.8 billion yen, and damage to agricultural products such as eggplant, okra, and tobacco was 6500 hectares, or 2.7 billion yen.

The heavy rains in July caused major damage in Kyushu such as Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, but it seems that some of them have not yet been totaled, and the amount of damage is expected to increase in the future.
