Heavy rain 65 deaths in Kumamoto Prefecture 4 people missing (9:00 a.m.) 12:47 on July 15

A series of heavy rains has killed 65 people and left four missing in Kumamoto Prefecture.

In Kumamoto Prefecture, the number of people killed by this heavy rain has risen to 65 as of 9 am on the 15th.

The death toll by municipality is
▽ 24 people including 14 residents of the special elderly nursing home "Senjuen" in Kuma Village,
▽ 20 people in Hitoyoshi City,
▽ 11 people in Ashikita Town,
▽ 5 people in Yatsushiro City,
▽Tunaki Town has 3 people,
▽Yamaga City has 2 people.

There are four people who are missing their whereabouts.
There are
2 people missing in Yatsushiro-shi,
1 person in Kuma-mura, 1 person in
Ashikita-cho, and police and the Coast Guard continue to search and confirm their identities.
