According to the police, at around 6 am on the 14th, neighbors reported in Uyama, Kawachi-cho, Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture that the back mountain of the house had collapsed. It means that one house was caught in the sand and lost contact with two men, a man in his 50s and a woman in his 80s who seemed to live in this house.
According to the video shot from the NHK helicopter, at the site of the landslide in Higashihiroshima, the house was washed away by the sediment of the back mountain and it was destroyed.
You can also see that the car parked near the first floor is crushed by the roof of the house.
Firefighters climb the top of the roof to check the situation inside the house.
