According to Kagoshima Prefecture, the water level of the river rises due to heavy rain, and the “flood risk water level” has been reached at three river observation stations in the prefecture at around 5 am.

The two flood observatories have reached the flooding water level, the Mannose Bridge on the Mannose River flowing through Minamisatsuma City and the Nisshinbashi on the Kaseda River. It is also an observatory at the Imagawara Bridge on the Honjo River flowing through Tarumi City.

Kagoshima Prefecture is calling for residents in the basin to pay attention to information from the local government, saying that there is a risk of flooding.
