Sediment inflow to roads in Kyonan-cho, Chiba Prefecture and Minamiboso City 10:21 on July 4

It is said that heavy rain caused the soil to flow onto roads at two locations in Kyonan-cho and Minamiboso-shi in Chiba Prefecture, but no damage to injured people or buildings has been confirmed.

According to the police, at around 7:20 am on the 4th, it was reported that sediment was flowing from a nearby cliff on the prefectural road in Ibara, Konan-cho, Chiba. At the site, the lane on the cliff side of the prefectural road with one lane on each side was buried for about 10 meters in the earth and sand.

Also in Minamiboso City, it is said that the staff of the city who was patroling the road running down the cliff from the cliff on the city road below Hirakuri in Minamiboso City at around 8:30 am confirmed.

Since there is no damage to injured people or buildings due to any of these, Chiba Prefecture continues to collect information on damage.
