Minabe Town, Wakayama Prefecture, has issued evacuation preparation information to 4795 households and 12,424 people in the entire town at 1 pm, owing to the possibility that landslides and river floods could occur due to rain. The evacuation preparation information is Level 3 of the five alert levels and calls on the elderly and people with disabilities to begin evacuation.
