According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, warm and moist air is flowing toward the rainy season front that extends to the east of Japan through the vicinity of Kyushu, so the atmospheric condition has become unstable mainly in western Japan, and it has developed in Kyushu. Rain clouds are hanging.

By 1 pm until 6 pm, heavy rain fell on 41 mm in Nojiri, Kobayashi City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and 39 mm in Yaeyama, Satsumagawanai City, Kagoshima Prefecture.

In Kyushu, it is raining heavily and intermittently, and the amount of rainfall from the beginning is over 150 mm.

Due to the rainfall that has occurred so far, the risk of sediment-related disasters has become extremely high in Saga Prefecture, Kagoshima Prefecture, and Miyazaki Prefecture, and there are areas where "sediment disaster warning information" has been announced. Frontline activity will become active again on the 28th, and extremely heavy rain of 50 mm or more per hour may occur with lightning in the northern part of Kyushu and Shikoku on the morning of 28th and in the southern part of Kyushu before noon of the 28th.

Especially in the southern part of Kyushu, there is a possibility of severe local rain from early morning to the morning of the 28th.
