Miyagi Marumori town suffered from heavy rain Damage to the famous boat "Shishinabe" resurrected on January 11 15:12

Sightseeing spot "Abukuma Line Boat Descent" in Marumori Town, Miyagi Prefecture, which was damaged by the typhoon No.19, started offering "shishinabe", a local dish using wild boar meat.

`` Abukuma Line Boat Descent '', which was temporarily unavailable due to typhoon No. 19, resumed business from November last year, but local cuisine using wild boar meat, a specialty of this time, “Sushi nabe” remained unavailable because the sushi restaurant in the town that was responsible for cooking was damaged.

The sushi restaurant resumed this month, and "Sushi hot pots" will be available on the boat on the 11th.

Shishi-nabe is a miso-flavored hot-pot dish with plenty of seasonal ingredients such as boar meat and wild boar eating mushrooms and vegetables.

On the morning of the 11th, four people from Thailand enjoyed their first "shishi-nabe" while watching the riverside view by boat.

During the boat descent, the traditional “Marumori Ondo” was performed by the boatman, and the visitors enjoyed the beautiful singing voice.

A Thai woman said, "The pot was very delicious and the scenery was beautiful. Singing the boatman was also a good experience."

The offer of "shishi-nabe" on the boat will continue until the end of March.
