Ramen store free from typhoon damage Provided free to local people Tochigi Sano Oct. 22 14:19

In Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture, which was severely damaged by Typhoon No. 19, local ramen shops are offering free Sano Ramen for free, so that the local people can become even better.

Sano Ramen is served at a ramen shop in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture, where the river in the city broke down and many houses were damaged by water.

The store is close to the broken Akiyama River, but damage to the store is avoided, and the owner, Yuzo Koike, wants to get a little cheered by the local people, starting from 18th of this month, limited to 100 meals a day. Ramen is served free of charge.

Sano City is a chilly day that has been raining since the night of the 21st, and when the store opens at 11:00 am on the 22nd, local people come to visit one after another. I was warming my body.

A man in his fifties living nearby said, “Thank you for the favor of the store. It was a shock that the state of Sano changed dramatically, but eating warm food will give you energy.”

Free ramen is scheduled to be offered until the 25th of this month, and a donation box is placed in the store to encourage ordinary customers, such as those outside the city, to cooperate in donations to support victims.

Mr. Koike, the store owner, said, “I started thinking that I could support those who suffered even a little. I want to eat warm ramen and get a little cheerful.”
