Due to Typhoon No. 19, agriculture, forestry and fishery products have been damaged in a wide range from Tohoku to Kanto and Chubu.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, there have been many reports that orchards such as apples have been submerged in addition to farmland such as paddy fields and fields due to the heavy rain of Typhoon No. 19 and the break of the dike.

In particular, damage is expected to be widespread in areas such as the Chikuma River in Nagano Prefecture and the Abukuma River in Fukushima Prefecture, where flood damage is serious.

It has also been reported that oysters, mandarin oranges, “none”, and “apples” before harvesting fall in a wide range due to strong winds caused by typhoons and cannot be shipped.

On the other hand, in addition to overturning fishing boats in Chiba Prefecture and other areas, the aquaculture facilities along the river are also damaged.

In addition, agricultural facilities such as waterways have been destroyed, and agricultural ponds have been destroyed in Fukushima and Tochigi prefectures, but no human damage has been confirmed so far.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, there is a lot of farmland that is not drained and it takes time to calculate the amount of damage.
