Typhoon NTT landline telephone and Internet line affected (14 pm 8pm) October 15 9:02

NTT's landline telephones and Internet lines are affected by damage to communication cables caused by the typhoon, and NTT is urgently recovering.

According to NTT East, as of 8 pm on the 14th, Kozushima, Shikinejima, and Niijima in Tokyo are not connected to the Internet with about 1400 lines, and about 900 fixed-line telephones using internet lines are not connected.

In addition, landline telephones cannot be connected to about 150 lines in Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture.

In Asakawa-machi, Fukushima Prefecture, there are about 1300 Internet lines, about 1000 fixed-line telephones using internet lines, and about 1200 fixed-line telephones, which are not connected.

On the other hand, the Internet in Marumori Town, Miyagi Prefecture, which had lost about 2800 lines, and the landline telephone using the Internet line have been restored.
