In the morning of the 15th, Tokyo delivered emergency food and drinking water to the Hibara area of Okutama-cho, Tokyo, where the road collapsed due to the impact of Typhoon No.19.
In the Hibara district in the west of Okutama Town, the road leading to the district collapsed due to the influence of typhoon No. 19, and 92 people from 54 households were isolated.
In response to a request for support from the city, Tokyo delivered 300 alpha rices and 240 bottles of drinking water just by pouring water by a JGSDF helicopter just after 11:00 am on the 15th.
Road restoration is expected to take some time, and in cities and towns, we will continue to deliver relief supplies while grasping the situation of the district.
