Extensive flooding in Saitama Sakado Fire fighting rescue activities for residents 13:14 on October 13
In Sakado City, Saitama Prefecture, rescue activities are underway in a wide range of houses due to the flooding of rivers in neighboring Kawagoe City.
According to Sakado City, many houses are flooded in Higashi-Sakado, Sakado City, due to the flooding of the nearby river in Kawagoe City.
This area has a housing complex of about 1,300 households and more than 2,300 people, and the first floor of several five-story buildings seems to have been left behind by many residents.
It is an area where prefectural housing complexes and UR city organization housing complex are located, just north of Shimokosaka area in Kawagoe city where special nursing homes for the elderly were flooded.
Firefighting boats are carrying out rescue activities for residents, and so far there is no information on injuries.
