Submerged Hospital Tokyo, Setagaya-ku, October 13 9:07

Under the influence of Typhoon No. 19, a hospital in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo was flooded with water on the first floor of the building, and was forced to work out water early in the morning on the 13th.

The Setagaya Memorial Hospital is surrounded by the Tama River. On the 12th, the first floor of a five-story building was flooded and the surrounding roads were flooded.

On the morning of the 13th, the water on the road drew, and the hospital was busy with the work of pumping out the water that had accumulated inside the building with the staff of another hospital who sought support.

The first floor of the building was still in the water near the knees, and the staff were scooping it out with a bucket or pushing it out of the entrance with a wooden board.

One of the male employees said, “I have been dealing with patients since 7 am on the 12th. Other employees are tired, so I want to take out water early so that everyone can rest.”
