In the house of Kimiko Ogata (68), Hachiryuji, Shirakawa City, on the 12th night, the back mountain collapsed and the house was crushed with earth and sand, and Ogata's whereabouts were unknown.

In the search that began on the morning of the 13th, the local fire brigade removed the earth and sand with a shovel.

The first floor of the house was crushed by a lot of earth and sand and trees, and the parked car was also washed away by earth and sand.

Kimiko ’s brother who visited the site said, “I just met last Wednesday. I knew the accident from the police contact. I am worried.”

The site is a densely populated area about 1.5 km southeast of the Shirakawa City Hall.
