According to Tohoku Electric Power, as of 5:30 am, there are a total of 48,000 power outages in the Tohoku region.
Of these, in Iwate Prefecture, about 21,000 households have lost power, Ichinoseki City has about 5900, Miyako City has about 3000, and so on.
In Fukushima Prefecture, about 17,200 households have lost power, Nihonmatsu City has about 2,900, Iwaki City has about 2500, and so on.
In Miyagi Prefecture, about 9,800 households have lost power, Ishinomaki City has about 3,300 households, and Marumori Town has about 2,100 households.
As soon as the weather recovers, Tohoku Electric Power will promptly check the situation and start repair work.
