Ibaraki Prefecture announced that the Ryujin Dam in Hitachi-Ota City will be urgently released at 11:30 pm due to Typhoon No. 19. The prefecture calls for strict caution as the water level of the Yamada River downstream of the Ryujin Dam rises rapidly and may flood in Hitachiota City.
