Kawasaki recommends evacuation to over 900,000 people October 12th 11:52
With the approach of Typhoon No. 19, Kawasaki City is expected to be inundated at 10:00 am on the 12th in Kawasaki Ward, Sachi Ward, Nakahara Ward, Takatsu Ward, Miyamae Ward, Tama Ward and Aso Ward Evacuation recommendations have been issued to 446,618 households and 915,773 people in the area, and 42,800 households and 93,627 people in the area where sediment-related disasters are expected.
The information corresponding to warning level 4 out of the five warning levels calls for immediate evacuation.
