Hakone-machi government office with record heavy rain

In Hakone Town, Kanagawa Prefecture, which has been a record heavy rain due to Typhoon No.19, as of 8:30 pm, there were about 2000 outages and the town hall government office was also out.

At the government office, we use an emergency power supply to collect information on whether there is any damage to residents, but so far there is no information about people injured.

Also, there are about 110 residents and other people evacuated to the government office, but the toilet has become unusable due to the power outage and a simple toilet has been prepared.

Hakone Town has been instructed to evacuate throughout the town, and in addition to the town hall, approximately 200 people have evacuated to 10 evacuation centers.
