Typhoon No. 19 Isetan Mitsukoshi 6 stores Tomorrow temporarily closed October 11th 13:18
Due to the approach of Typhoon No. 19, Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings, a major department store, decided to temporarily close all six department stores in Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture on 12th to ensure the safety of customers and employees. This is the first time that we are temporarily closed all day in preparation for a typhoon.
Closed are the Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store, Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, Mitsukoshi Ginza Store, Mitsukoshi Ebisu Store, Isetan Tachikawa Store, and Saitama Prefecture in Isetan Urawa Store.
The company has taken measures to shorten business hours in preparation for typhoons so far, but this is the first time that it is closed all day.
We will consider business on the 13th while looking at the conditions of the typhoon.
