Dispatched staff to the islands of Tokyo Prepared for approaching Typhoon No. 19 October 18:13
To prepare for the approach of Typhoon No.19, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will dispatch staff from Tokyo to Oshima Town, Miyake Village, and Hachijo Town on the 10th.
The island has been damaged by Typhoon No. 15 last month, and the city says that it will provide necessary support while listening to the needs of local governments.
In addition, blue sheets and sandbags will be shipped to Oshima Town, Toshima Village, Kozushima Village, Miyake Village, Mikurajima Village, and Hachijo Town on the 9th night as support supplies to the island.
These supplies will be delivered by ship on the morning of the 10th.
