The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries expects the high level of tomatoes to continue until the first half of this month, but the wholesale price is expected to return to the normal level as shipments are expected to increase in the second half of this month in Kumamoto Prefecture.

On the other hand, radish, which is the main production area in Chiba Prefecture, and spinach, which is the production area in Ibaraki Prefecture, were also damaged by Typhoon No. 15. It is expected to remain unchanged.
