According to the Indonesian meteorological authorities, there was an earthquake of magnitude 6.8 in Indonesia around 6:46 am on the 26th (around 8:46 am Japan time). The epicenter is near Seram Island, east of Sulawesi Island, and the depth of the epicenter is estimated to be 10 km. Indonesian meteorological authorities say there is no risk of a tsunami from this earthquake.
