Chiba Tateyama Hometown Ambassador's Sakana Kun Visiting Elementary School Encouraging Children September 18th 15:13

Visiting an elementary school in the city, Sakana Kun, a visiting associate professor at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, serves as the hometown ambassador of Tateyama City, Chiba Prefecture, where the Typhoon No. 15 has been severely damaged.

Sakana-kun visited Nishimisaki Elementary School in Tateyama City, where classes resumed on the 17th. Approximately 60 children from all schools gathered in the gymnasium.

First, Yoshio Kojima, a comedy talent who came together, made the children laugh with a good gag.

Subsequently, Sakana-kun explained the characteristics of various fish while drawing pictures, and the children listened happily.

The 6th grade girl said, “It was interesting and energetic. I was glad to see everyone's smiles after a long time.”

Sakana Kun has a home in Tateyama City, has been serving as an ambassador since 2002, and has been deeply involved in the tourism facilities where fish pictures are displayed and appearing in tourism PR videos.

Sakana-kun said, “It ’s best to support everyone and get over, and I want to do everything I can.”
