TEPCO Special charge for power outage damage areas in Chiba Prefecture September 14th, 9:00

TEPCO has decided to take special measures such as extending the payment date of electricity bills for one month for ordinary households in Chiba Prefecture that have been damaged by the power failure caused by Typhoon No. 15.

The special measures are all in Chiba Prefecture, where the disaster relief law was applied, Chuo-ku, Hanamigawa-ku, Inage-ku, Wakaba-ku, Midori-ku, Choshi-city, Tateyama-city, Kisarazu-city, Mobara, Narita, Sakura, Togane, Asahi, Katsuura, Ichihara, Kamogawa, Kimitsu, Futtsu, Yotsukaido, Sodegaura, Yachimata, Inzai, Tomisato, Minamiboso, Sakai City, Katori City, Sanmu City, Isumi City, Oami Shirasato City, Shisui Town, Sakae Town, Kanzaki Town, Tako Town, Tojo Town, Kujukuri Town, Shibayama Town, Yokoshiba Hikarimachi, Ichinomiya Town, Serizawa Town, Chosei Village, There are 41 municipalities, including Shirako, Nagara, Chonan, Otaki, and Kōnan.

In these municipalities, the payment date will be extended for one month from the previous month to the next November when a general household or business operator who has contracted with TEPCO applies.

In addition, if you do not use electricity at all after being damaged or evacuated due to damage or evacuation, you will be exempt from electricity charges for up to six months from next month.
