Nursery school resumed due to power failure restoration Chiba Kyonan September 13, 12:27

The nursery school in Chonan-cho, Chiba Prefecture, which had stopped taking care of children under the influence of Typhoon No. 15, resumed acceptance from the 13th.

In Konancho, the Konan nursery school was closed due to a power outage, but since electricity was restored, children were accepted again on the 13th.

There are 54 people in this nursery school, but there were many families who couldn't tell the resumption of acceptance because the phone wasn't connected, and 12 people came to the nursery school on the 13th.

The children talked to the nursery school about the situation that was damaged by the typhoon, such as the roof roof tiles being blown off by strong winds, and they played with building blocks with friends.

School lunches are not available at daycare centers, so children are only accepted in the morning until the 14th.

A 60-year-old woman who visited a 1-year-old grandson said, “Sometimes you have to do it in the house to get rid of the rotten food in the refrigerator and prepare for a leak. "I just saved you."

“I hope we can help busy parents in cleaning up their work and home by resuming acceptance even in a short time,” said Yuko Watanabe, director of Kunan Nursery School.
