According to Niijima Village, the typhoon No. 15 caused some of the refrigeration facilities on the island that store fish to be used as specialty products to break, making it impossible to cool the fish.

In response to the village's request for assistance, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government decided to transport one container with a refrigeration function and one generator as relief supplies.

Containers will be transported to Niijima village on the night of the 12th and will arrive in the morning of the 13th.
