Chiba Prefecture has decided to apply the “Disaster Rescue Law” to 41 municipalities in the prefecture that were damaged by the power failure caused by Typhoon No.15.

The Disaster Relief Law applies to 41 municipalities in the prefecture that were out of power before 3:00 pm on the 12th.

For these municipalities, the total amount of expenses such as the installation of evacuation shelters, food and drinking water, etc. that accompany the occurrence of a power outage dated 9th of this month when the damage caused by the typhoon occurred. It means that the prefecture will bear.

The disaster relief law is applied in Chiba Prefecture for the first time in six years since 2013 when it was applied to Mobara City due to flooding caused by a typhoon.
