According to Saga Prefecture, this heavy rain has confirmed damage in at least 265 rivers and roads managed by the prefecture.

Of these, the Amakugawa River in the Rokkaku River, which flows through Takeo City, has been damaged in 16 places on a 4 km section.

The revetment around the residential area of ​​Takeo-cho, Takeo City has a place that has collapsed for about 10 meters, and there is also a place where it has collapsed so that a part can be removed. We are proceeding with emergency restoration work, such as building up sandbags.

These restoration works are given priority in response to disaster prevention agreements between Saga Prefecture and the Prefectural Construction Industry Association.
