As a result of Typhoon No. 15, more than 1,100 people are still evacuated to various evacuation centers in Chiba Prefecture. Some local governments have finally opened evacuation shelters due to the restoration of electricity, which means that more people are evacuating.

According to the summary of Chiba Prefecture, 120 evacuation centers have been opened at 29 am in the prefecture as of 10:00 am on the 11th.

The number of people evacuated to evacuation centers is 208 in Ichihara City and 141 in Asahi City. A total of 1163 people are forced to evacuate.

This is an increase of 20 evacuation shelters and 318 people compared to 3 pm on the 10th.

According to the general affairs section of Nagagara Town, where the number of evacuees has increased, a new evacuation center has been established. This means that shelter has been opened and 54 people have been evacuated.

The person in charge at Nagagara-cho said, “There are still power outages in many areas in the town, and elderly people are evacuating from shelters where air conditioning is working.”
