According to the Saga Minami Police Station in Saga Prefecture, the police reported that a car entered the waterway in Saga City, around 9:30 am.
The firefighter who rushed to rescued a woman from a light passenger car that fell into the waterway, but it was in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest.
The police are examining the situation at the time.
