Awaodori 14th canceled due to typhoon Tokushima August 13 19:25

Tokushima City's Awaodori, which is held for four days up to the 15th, is scheduled to be canceled on the 14th because rain and wind are expected to increase due to the impact of Typhoon # 10.

Tokushima City's Awaodori started on the 12th and was scheduled to be held in the city center for 4 days until the 15th of this month.

However, as rain and wind are expected to increase due to the impact of Typhoon No. 10, the dance committee will be held as a result of discussions with the executive committee hosted on the 13th and a private consortium that has been operating for some time. On the 14th, we decided to cancel all dances both indoors and outdoors, as we were unable to secure the safety of the audience.

According to the executive committee, it is the first time in 23 years since 1996 that Awaodori was canceled due to a typhoon.

The joint venture will refund the pre-sale tickets for paid performance halls on and after the 15th, and the refund method will be posted on the official website.

Also, the last day of the 15th will be decided on the 14th.
