Typhoon No. 10 The future course will be determined on August 7 at 20:40

Typhoon No. 10 is moving northward on the south of the Ogasawara Islands. “Pacific High” will determine the future course.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the typhoon cannot move on its own, but changes its course by being swept away by the wind in the sky.

There is a clockwise wind at the edge of the Pacific High, and Typhoon No. 10 will change its course in the future by being swept away by this wind.

If “Pacific High” doesn't develop well and does not overhang around Japan, Typhoon No. 10 is expected to move eastward from Honshu.

On the other hand, if the “Pacific High” develops and extends to the vicinity of Japan, there is a possibility of approaching Honshu.

The Japan Meteorological Agency confirms the latest typhoon information, and if it is anticipated that it will be approached, it wants to proceed with preparations as necessary.
