According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, Typhoon No. 8 seems to be moving northwest at a rate of 25 kilometers per hour around Iki City in Nagasaki Prefecture at 3 pm. The central pressure is 996 hectopascals, the maximum wind speed is 23 meters, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed is 35 meters.

The wind is strong, especially in northern Kyushu, Chugoku, and Shikoku.
In Eastern Japan and Northern Japan, atmospheric conditions have become unstable and rain clouds have developed locally.
