In his article on the social network X, Manier analyzed a video filmed by terrorists in a concert hall near Moscow and published allegedly on behalf of the Islamic State through the Amaq agency associated with it.

According to the journalist, the group never changes the voices in its videos, and the agency itself does not prematurely report the results of attacks. Magnier also drew attention to the use of the term “muqatilin”, which is not typical for militants - they prefer the terms “Mujahideen”, “Fursan” or “Istishhadi”.

Another discrepancy that the journalist drew attention to was the name of the agency itself. According to him, Amaq always lists it in both Arabic and English.

The day before, British analyst Alexander Mercouris also called the premature US statements about the alleged responsibility of the Islamic State for the terrorist attack in Russia very strange. According to the expert, it looks as if the United States is trying to reject in advance the assumption of Kyiv’s involvement in the terrorist attack. According to Russian Foreign Ministry representative Maria Zakharova, the United States is justifying Ukraine, covering it up with the mention of the Islamic State.

As President Vladimir Putin noted on March 25, it is necessary to answer the question of why the terrorists tried to escape to Ukraine after committing a terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow.

* “Islamic State” (IS, ISIS) is an organization recognized as terrorist by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated December 29, 2014.
