Francesca Albanese condemns the ongoing Israeli brutal crimes in the Gaza Strip (European)

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Palestine, Francesca Albanese, said, “Israel is uprooting a people,” in her description of the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Commenting on a post by the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, yesterday, Francesca wrote in a post on her account on the “X” platform, today, Wednesday, that the massacres committed by Israel against children within 5 months took place in an area the size of the city of Philadelphia. American.

Lazzarini said in his post yesterday that the number of children killed in Gaza since October 7 is greater than the number of children killed in the world’s wars over the past 4 years.

In his post, Lazzarini shared a graph prepared based on data from the United Nations and the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, showing the number of children who were martyred in Gaza in the period from October 7 to February 29 and the number of children killed in wars in the past four years.

The graph showed that the number of children killed in wars in the world during the past four years reached 12,193, while the number of children killed in Gaza reached more than 12,300 children.

Despite the start of the month of Ramadan, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs and injured, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure, which led to genocide.
