Erdogan: Israel and its supporters will be judged before the conscience of humanity (Anatolia)

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that European leaders have become prisoners of shame in what is known as the Holocaust, due to their unfair positions on the Israeli aggression on Gaza, which led to the death of more than 13,<> Palestinian martyrs, most of them women and children.

Speaking to reporters Monday after a meeting of the Turkish government in the capital Ankara, Erdogan said that as Turkey mobilizes its efforts to stop the bloodshed in Gaza, "we are shamefully following the lack of conscience of Western countries."

He added that the Israeli occupation forces commit massacres every day against innocent women, children, journalists, doctors, the elderly and civilians, "and no reaction to this comes from Europe and America."

The Turkish president stressed that his country is the only country that Israel cannot accuse of anti-Semitism, "there is no such stain in Turkey's past."

"Israel and its supporters are using all modern means of warfare against children, women and the elderly, and they will be prosecuted before the conscience of humanity," he said.

Erdogan reiterated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had lost his reputation before his people and was trying to restore it by bombing hospitals, schools and synagogues.

The brutality of the Crusades

The Turkish president pointed out that the bombing of hospitals has become a symbol of Israeli injustice, "almost all hospitals in Gaza were either destroyed or damaged by the bombing."

"Since the seventh of October, Gaza has been witnessing no less brutality than during the Crusades a thousand years ago and in World War II," he said.

He said that Israel was trying to break the resolve of the resistance among Gazans not only by killing them, but also by cutting off water, fuel, electricity and communication, as well as by bombing hospitals.

Erdogan said Turkey had sent 11 cargo planes and a ship loaded with humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza via Egypt.
