Li Qiang said that President Xi Jinping and Mr. Premier held a fruitful meeting to provide strategic guidance for the development of China-Australia relations in the new era. China is ready to work with the Australian side to further strengthen dialogue and communication, deepen political mutual trust, properly handle differences, and continue to make cooperation the mainstream of China-Australia relations and win-win cooperation in all areas of bilateral cooperation in the spirit of mutual respect and understanding, so as to promote the sustained and steady development of the China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership and create more benefits for the two peoples.

Li Qiang pointed out that China-Australia cooperation has great potential, and China is willing to work with Australia to follow economic laws, adhere to market principles, consolidate and strengthen cooperation in traditional fields such as energy and mining, expand cooperation in emerging fields such as green development, digital economy, scientific and technological innovation, and health industry, and avoid pan-politicization and security of economic and trade issues, so as to achieve win-win development and promote regional prosperity. China is ready to work with Australia to promote exchanges and cooperation in education, culture and tourism, local governments and youth, and further facilitate people-to-people exchanges between the two sides, so that China-Australia friendship will continue to take root in the hearts of the people of the two countries.

Albanese said that in the 50 years since Prime Minister Whitlam's visit to China, Australia-China relations have made great progress, bringing great benefits to the people of the two countries. China is an important partner for Australia, and the Australia-China relationship should not be defined by differences. Adhering to the one-China policy, Australia is ready to enhance mutual understanding with China, deepen cooperation in trade, investment, science and technology, people-to-people and cultural cooperation, properly manage differences through communication and dialogue, jointly address global challenges such as climate change, food security and transnational organized crime, safeguard regional and world peace and prosperity, and promote the positive, stable and constructive development of the Australia-China comprehensive strategic partnership.
