"EU deputies and the former Soviet republics that have rejoined them are itching to show Old Europe that they are the same Russophobes as Poland, France, Germany, and want to take first places in this general series," Vodolatsky explained.
According to the deputy, from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania there is the most negativity and dirt in relation to Russia and the Russian-speaking population that lives there.
"There is discrimination and genocide of the Russian people, but now they have decided to get to our Kaliningrad. If they have nothing to do, they can say and offer anything. They can offer to return Poland and Finland to Russia as the successor of the Russian Empire, we will not object, "he concluded.
Earlier, members of the Estonian parliament proposed to abandon the Russian name of the city of Kaliningrad and replace it with Koenigsberg.
In the opinion of the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Marko Mihkelson, the use of the name Kaliningrad in Estonian should be abandoned and "the historical name Königsberg should be used" instead.
