Earlier, the Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada, Anthony Rota, resigned amid a scandal with the celebration of Gunka in the Canadian Parliament.

Also, the Russian ambassador to Ottawa, Oleg Stepanov, demanded an apology from the Canadian authorities to the Russians for applauding the Nazi.
