Xiamen, 9 Sep (Zhongxin Net) -- Professor Wang Yifu, president of the National Taiwan Studies Association, and Professor Huang Qingxian of the Zhou Enlai School of Government of Nankai University held a dialogue on the theme of "Construction Drawings for the Construction of Cross-Strait Integrated Development Demonstration Zone" on 27 September.

Wang Yifu and Huang Qingxian had an in-depth discussion on the construction of the cross-strait integrated development demonstration zone proposed in the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Supporting Fujian to Explore a New Road for Cross-Strait Integrated Development and Build a Cross-Strait Integrated Development Demonstration Zone" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions").
Wang Yifu emphasized that the "Opinions" is a document with high emotional intelligence and high intelligence, embodying rich experience, wisdom and emotion, like a construction drawing with strong operability. Huang Qingxian clearly expounded the changes and practical process of the theory of cross-strait integrated development, pointed out that the "Opinions" provide common development opportunities for compatriots on both sides of the strait, and point out the way forward for the future development of cross-strait relations.
During the dialogue, Wang Yifu used the imperial examination system to deeply review the historical development of Fujian and Taiwan, and demonstrated that the people of Fujian and Taiwan are close in blood and deep in love, and share common cultural roots and memory ties. In particular, in response to the "Opinions" mentioning "giving play to the role of Mazu and other folk beliefs as a bond", Wang Yifu believes that this will not only help safeguard the cultural traditions of Fujian and Taiwan, promote the emotional ties between the people on both sides of the strait, but also provide important spiritual support for the peaceful development of the two sides of the strait.
Huang Qingxian talked deeply about the current situation of cross-strait regional cooperation from the economic, social and cultural issues of Fujian and Taiwan, and hoped that in the future, he could meet the actual needs of Taiwan compatriots, let Fujian and Taiwan compatriots "be close to each other", further gather Fujian and Taiwan factor resources, and deepen the integration and development of various fields across the strait.
