This, according to the newspaper "Izvestia", said the head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Natalia Naumenko.
"For such people, for our part, we have simplified their stay in Ukraine as much as possible," she said.
According to Naumenko, the period of stay on the territory of Ukraine was extended for mercenaries if it has already expired.
In addition, as the newspaper notes, these persons were exempted from the need to draw up documents for temporary residence.
Earlier, a Spanish mercenary who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine complained about the meager equipment of the army.
Also, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened cases against 200 mercenaries fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
