7:53 am: Ukraine attacked by 38 Russian drones overnight, 26 shot down
Russia attacked Ukraine with 38 Shahed drones overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force said, saying 26 of the aircraft were shot down.
"The launches of 38 Shahed (...) have been recorded," the air force wrote on Telegram in its daily report, adding that Ukrainian defenses had destroyed 26 of the Iranian-made devices.
The Odessa region was among the positions hit overnight by Russian forces, which targeted the port of Izmail.
1:45 a.m.: Four Ukrainian drones destroyed in Kursk region
The Russian Defense Ministry said four Ukrainian drones were destroyed in the Kursk region, which borders Ukraine.
